The FT/IR-4X is a powerful Mid-IR FTIR spectrometer (wavenumber range 7800 to 350 cm-1), with many features that you find in a research grade instrument, such as non-hygroscopic KRS-5 windows to prevent damage to the interferometer, a temperature controlled DLaTGS detector and a high output ceramic source for maximum sensitivity. Permanent optical alignment is guaranteed by corner cube (retro-reflective) mirrors with auto-alignment for maximum energy. With high resolution 0.4cm-1 and a S/N greater than 35,000:1.
For most routine analysis the FT/IR-4X is used with the integrated ATR-PRO 4X single bounce ATR with a choice of prisms including a high throughput monolithic diamond, germanium (ideal for carbon-black samples) or ZnSe.
For flexible applications a second detector can be added, such as an MCT or InGaAs with automatic exchange and dedicated options to work from the near- to mid-IR and from mid- to the far-IR.
The FT/IR-4X can be coupled to any of the IRT Series of FTIR microscopes to create a versatile system for both micro and macro FTIR spectroscopy.
The powerful control and analysis software, Spectra Manager™ Suite, is compatible with Windows 10 or 11 Pro and Enterprise with user-customizable interface for automating routine tasks such as sample identification and quality testing using Quick-Start and QC Compare (with build your own library capability).

The FT/IR-4X is controlled by Spectra Manager™ Suite cross-platform software. This includes a wide variety of standard functions such as spectra measurement, Quick-Start, QC Compare and quantitative analysis. Additional applications can be added, such as chemometrics (PLS, PCR, CLS etc.). The sample measurement screen can be fully customized according to user requirements and each customized screen and parameters can be saved for different users (User Adaptive Software).
The FT/IR-6X and FT/IR-8X spectrometers off er a highly configurable optical system applicable to virtually any FTIR application, from simple mid-IR measurement to more complex analysis in the farthest reaches of the electromagnetic spectrum. Research-based measurements are easily performed on the FT/IR-6X or FT/IR-8X spectrometers with options such as full-vacuum, gold-coated optics, rapid & step scan and FT-Raman for more advanced experiments.
Exchangeable elements combined with full automation can be used for spectral measurement from 25,000 cm-1 to less than 20 cm-1 without touching the system. Utilize a range of vacuum and configurable emission ports to perform experiments outside the sample compartment
FT/IR-6X is the powerful FTIR spectrometer for research application, which has excellent signal-to-noise ratio (47,000:1) and high resolution (0.25 cm-1). It has the capability for extending the measurement wavenumber range (25,000 to 20 cm-1), and also has the option for applying the IR measurement under vacuum condition. FT/IR-6X with superior performance, functionality and flexibility provides the optimal solution.
FT/IR-8X is our flagship FTIR spectrometer, which has excellent signal-to-noise ratio (55,000:1) and high resolution (0.07 cm-1). FT/IR-8X can be used with options for rapid scan measurement and step scan measurement with nanosecond time resolution (up to 10 nsec.).
In addition, measurement wavenumber region can be extended as option, and it is possible to upgrade FT/IR-8X to vacuum model.
The FT/IR-6X and FT/IR-8X spectrometers can be configured for any spectral region within the measurement range 25,000 cm-1 to less than 20 cm-1. Automatic beam splitter and window exchange allow uninterrupted measurement across the entire spectral range.
JASCO can also provide the FTIR system which enables to perform the broad band measurement (6,000 to 30 cm-1) without switching optical elements. In addition, its system can be applied to vacuum system, which can get the entire spectral data from mid-IR to far-IR without the influence of water vapor and CO2 in atmosphere shortly
